About the Project

The Mechanical section of South Dublin County Council previously had been using FMS MS-Access application. Nvolve migrated the existing FMS application to intranet application using latest ASP.NET with SQL Server 2005 technologies to facilitate multiple user environments.

The mechanical section maintains all the vehicles related information owned by the SDCC. The following are the features that the Fleet Management System incorporates.

• The jobs carried out on each vehicles
• Repairs made on each job
• Parts used on each job
• Services made on each vehicles
• All vehicles will be given to all parties so that the SDCC and the mechanical section keep tracks of these information and gets charges from every section in weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual periods based on the vehicle type.
• Costing modules helps the mechanical section to plan their budget for the next year based on the statistics of the current year.

Added Value

The implementation of Nvolve’s solution has saved SDCC time and money by Integrated SDCC’s external applications such as Document Management System and Agresso from the Fleet Management System.

About the Project

Election Engagement Portal is an innovative voter engagement portal that helps to promote greater social inclusion by providing greater citizen convenience, access and choice. At the same time, Election Engagement Portal helps to ensure that every sector of the community benefited from the initiative. The project uses ICT to transform traditional election services by enhancing participation and transparency through an innovative multi-language, ‘vote anywhere’ election that combined paper ballots with interactive ICT features.

Features included online citizen feedback, SMS and e-mail reminders and Internet and telephone voting. SMS and email reminders provide a cost-efficient means to increase service take up and participation. Key innovations are delivering online candidate statements that voters could access whilst casting ballots, a one-stop-shop election portal that enabled voters to locate their polling station online and receive election reminders, supervised eVoting to support voters uncomfortable with technology.

Added Value

The implementation of the election engagement portal has allowed for a greater social inclusion from all users and has allowed users to vote anywhere anytime. The application has allowed for a greater end user experience along with saving Opt2vote a lot of time and money.

About the Project

Stanmore College provides a very high academic teaching standard as well as many extra-curricular activities for the all round development of their students. Stanmore were seeking a web based solution to allow their employees to submit employee appraisals and for other employees to be able to appraise themselves.

Nvolve’s Limited competency solution now enables the appraisals that the employees submit to be generated in various types of graphical reports which helps the management to make an analysis of the competency of all their employees.

University of Huddersfield provides a very high academic teaching standard as well as many extra-curricular activities for the all round development of their students. University of Huddersfield were seeking a web based solution to allow their students, staffs, employees to submit feedback or appraisals form and derive various management competency reports using graphical interfaces.

The implementation of the 360° management system now allows the University of Huddersfield to have at the click of a button an appraisal or feedback form on students, staff, and employees.  This has allowed the University to have a more proactive role regarding each individual’s growth and development and recognising weakness and being able to combat this with a relevant solution on a case by case basis.

About the Project

Letterkenny Institute of Technology is a third level Institution serving a large catchment area including Donegal and the North West of Ireland. Each time stock arrives on the premises each item of stock are labelled automatically and the labelled stock items are added immediately to the inventory. Each Item would be assigned to a particular person of a particular room. Every quarterly, the stock verification process is conducted and the stock status is verified. LYIT wanted a solution that enabled them to find the matched, mismatched, missed stocks of each room and consolidate the overall room reports and help them to reassign the stock to the proper locations.

Added Value

Nvolve’s Limited stock management and verification system was an ideal solution for LYIT and provides them with a more systematic approach that avoids errors that would be found it this system was to remain manual.

About the Project

BestBall Golf wanted to create a web based application centred on “Spot the Ball” game where registered users or members play the game in an online capacity. Nvolve developed this application. Members can also buy more hits by purchasing more credits online. The winner is immediately declared when members hits the right spot marked by the judge. If no user hits the right spot the neared place marked by the judge would be declared at the end of the competition.

Added Value

Nvolve’s web based development enabled BestBallGolf to allow visitors to their site to play golf and enter golf competitions in an online capacity enables a user rich experience increasing  the amount of visitors to their website.

The main focus of the software is to reduce the amount of time needed to prepare time sheets & attendance records for payroll through automated time collection and calculation. Bio-metric hand punch time clocks integrated with this application for a complete, easy to use, robust time system.

About the Project

The Regulatory Information is a website where you can find out about the ingredients present in any Household cleaning products. This website lists all their clients with their respective products. Each client’s product then has the ingredients details listed that can be viewed by the customer at any time online. This helps the customer to be aware of ingredients of every product before they buy and use. As per the European Detergents Regulations (EC 648/2004) all companies must disclose their product ingredients details.

Added Value

Implementation of this site has provided NicePak with an information site for their clients for regulatory compliance. For the customer it has created a location online that will allow them to know what ingredients are in the products they purchase.
