The Project:Staffline Group Plc Implement Cost Saving Training Measures With Nvolve’s GroupLearnerTM Solution
About the Project
Staffline Group Plc train thousands of people each year and were seeking a simple training solution that would take care of all of their training requirements cost effectively in a short space of time. The functionality of Nvolve’s flagship solution GroupLearnerTM ticked all the boxes for Staffline and therefore they implemented the GroupLearnerTM technology solution.
GroupLearnerTM helps organisations in the Food, Manufacturing and Services industries save over 74% on the traditional cost of food safety training. GroupLearnerTM combines City and Guilds accredited courseware along with a unique keypad training system to enable organisations to train and assess 100’s of people in a very short space of time. The process involved is that you simply bring together a group of trainees (up to 100 at a time), show them the GroupLearnerTM training accredited courseware and they use the keypads to answer the assessment questions. An assessment record for every trainee is stored within the GroupLearnerTM system which means that companies can access reports on each individual trainee and generate certificates at the click of a button.
GroupLearnerTM partners with leading courseware suppliers making a large amount of courseware available. Users can chose from Food Safety Levels 1 and 2 in Manufacturing, Retail and Catering. They also have Health and Safety for Food Workers Level 2. All these courses are accredited by City and Guilds and can be completed in less than 2 hours. Switzerland Company Medtronic utilised Nvolve’s AudienceResponderTM Solution at their annual Medical Devices Expert Group (MDEG) on new and emerging technologies Conference in Brussels earlier this year. Medtronic is a global leader in medical technology providing lifelong solutions for people with chronic disease. They offer products, therapies and services that enhance or extend the lives of millions of people. Each year, 6 million patients benefit from Medtronic’s technology, used to treat conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, neurological disorders, and vascular illnesses.
To add to the user experience the team at Medtronic also used the technology available from Audience ResponderTM to engage the audience with the host and to gather opinions, information and test knowledge. The technology was also used to gather feedback on how all the speakers were rated from very good to poor. Speaking with Eric Klasen, Vice President Regulatory Affairs & Quality Medtronic International Trading, he stated that the Nvolve system helped make this event dynamic and engaged the entire audience in an interactive questions & answer session which immediately displayed the results to the group. The possibility of storing these data allows for making further in-depth analysis from the session. We were also very satisfied with the technical support provided by Nvolve Limited on site".
Medtronic are also using the voting system again next month in Milan where there are hosting another medical devices conference.
